Bio
Originally from a suburb of Washington D.C. I graduated from the Wilson College of Textiles in May of 2019 with a B.S. in Fashion and Textile Management and a concentration in Fashion Development and Product Management. I am now pursuing a Ph.D. in Textile Technology Management with an expected graduation date of December 2022. My interest in research began with an undergraduate research project to study how bras affect the body, followed by the development of a bra design to mitigate pain based on these findings. This translated to an internship with HanesBrands in the Research and Development department, in which I studied the logistics of implementing new technologies into a supply chain. I have continued work with HanesBrands, along with the Nonwovens Institute, to develop technical solutions to textile problems. I am passionate about solving problems in the textile industry using interdisciplinary knowledge and skills and am excited to be a part of the research community of the Nonwovens Institute.
